Julie Wimmer was born in the year 1975. Already as a child, she devoted herself to art and handiwork. After finishing high school, she lived and studied for several years in Switzerland and Great Britain. In London she attended children´s book illustration seminars at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. She currently lives in Prague, but also draws her inspiration from her trips to Asia, Africa and America. Works from the Julie Wimmer Design Studio have been presented to many well known artists, important personalities and politicians on gala occasions.
Julie Wimmer primarily focuses on custom manufacture of unique jewellery for the most demanding of clients. An individual approach to the customer´s wishes guarantees the originality and exclusivity of each finished work.
The prestigious magazine FashionOffice, which concerns itself with worldwide trends in fashion, art, luxury and beauty, has classified jeweller Julie Wimmer among the fashion design elite. The "Elegance With Positive Energy jewel collection has thus enriched worldwide fashion trends for the year 2006.
